Creator and Payout Terms

In plain words: if you share looks and trips on Closetbook, your own affiliate links (LTK, ShopMy, Amazon Associates, a brand's programme) are always used first and you keep every cent they earn; we never touch them. When a piece has an ordinary shop link and no affiliate link of yours, Closetbook wraps it with our own network account. If a shopper buys, the shop pays the network, the network pays us, and we pay you a published share of what we received. Sponsored suggestions shown to your followers can earn you a share too. Payouts go through Stripe, once a month, after the shop has confirmed the sale and its return window has closed. You must be 18 or older. No self-buying, no bots, no hiding that a link is paid. Rates and minimums are on your dashboard and can change for future clicks, never for clicks already made.

These Creator and Payout Terms ("Creator Terms") are between CAMMY LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we," "us"), and you, a Closetbook user who takes part in the creator payout programme ("the Programme"). Closetbook is a product of CAMMY LLC; CAMMY LLC is the contracting and paying party. These Creator Terms sit on top of the Terms of Service, which still apply; where the two differ about links, commissions or payouts, these win. The Privacy Policy describes the data involved.

You accept these Creator Terms in the Service when you first turn on payouts (or connect Stripe), and we keep a record of the version you accepted and when. If a material part changes, we ask you again before your next payout.

1. Who can take part

You are 18 or older, hold one Closetbook account with a public creator handle, and are not suspended.
You live in a country where Stripe can pay you from a US platform (at present the United States, United Kingdom, European Economic Area, Canada and Switzerland, and any other country Stripe adds) and you are not on a US sanctions list.
Stripe. Payment processing and payout services for creators on Closetbook are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (together, the "Stripe Services Agreement"). By agreeing to these Creator Terms or continuing to take part in the Programme, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as Stripe may modify it from time to time. As a condition of our enabling payouts through Stripe, you agree to give us accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorise us to share it and transaction information with Stripe. Stripe, not us, collects and holds your identity, bank and tax details.
You take part as an independent creator, not as our employee, agent, partner or franchisee. You may not make statements or commitments on our behalf.

2. Two kinds of links

2.1 Your own affiliate links. A piece in your closet can carry the affiliate link you were issued by any programme. On your public pages, posts, shared looks and trips, your own link is always used first, exactly as you gave it. We do not wrap it, shorten it, add tracking to it or take any share of what it earns; we only count the click so that you can see it under Me. What you earn from your own links is between you and that programme, under its rules, which you are responsible for. Some programmes require you to list every site where you place links: if yours does, list closetbook.app before you add the link. Amazon Associates forbids showing tagged links on a site you have not listed, forbids redirects and shorteners, and forbids purchases by you or your family and friends; add an Amazon link with your tag only if closetbook.app is a listed Site in your Associates account, and keep Amazon's own disclosure ("As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases") on your page. Amazon links are never redirected through us, whether they are yours or not; we show them exactly as you gave them. We never earn through your LTK, ShopMy, Amazon or brand account and never act as a proxy or intermediary for it: those programmes forbid it, and we do not want to.

2.2 Closetbook links. A piece with an ordinary shop link and no affiliate link of yours may be wrapped by our affiliate network account (currently Skimlinks and/or Sovrn Commerce; we may add or change networks, for example Impact, Awin, CJ or Rakuten Advertising). A piece with no link at all may be shown with a look-alike from our catalogue, wrapped the same way. When a shopper clicks, our link log records the page and the piece, the network records the click and sets its cookie, and, if the shopper buys within the shop's attribution window, the shop pays a commission to the network, which passes part of it to us. These wrapped links are "Closetbook Links".

3. What you earn

3.1 Creator Share. For each commission that we actually receive from a Closetbook Link on a page, post or look that you published, we credit you the Creator Share: a percentage of the net commission, published on your dashboard. "Net commission" is what the network pays into our account for that sale after the network's own fee and any payment-processing fee. The percentage in force at the time of the click applies to that sale, however long the shop takes to confirm it.

3.2 Sponsored placements shown to your followers. Where a brand or another creator pays us to show a sponsored suggestion (a "placement") and it is shown to your followers or on your pages, we credit you the Placement Share published on your dashboard, calculated on the placement revenue we actually receive for those impressions or clicks, as your dashboard states.

3.3 Attribution. A sale is yours when the shop or network attributes it to a click that came from one of your pages, posts or looks. Where the network gives us the click identifier, we use it; where it does not, we use our own link log and the network's report together, last click wins. If a shopper reached the same shop through two creators' pages, the last click before the purchase earns the share. Our records of clicks, attributions and commissions are the record of the Programme; if you think a figure is wrong, tell us within 30 days of it appearing on your dashboard and we will look into it. We cannot attribute or pay a sale the network did not report or did not pay.

3.4 No guarantee. Shops and networks set commission rates (and can change them with immediate effect), attribution windows and return periods, and can reject, reduce or reverse commissions for reasons we do not control (a return, a cancelled order, a coupon code the shop did not authorise, suspected fraud, a merchant leaving the network). We make no promise that any click will become a sale, that any sale will be paid, or that you will earn anything.

4. Getting paid

Ledger. Your dashboard shows pending commissions (reported but not yet paid to us), confirmed commissions (paid to us) and what has been paid to you. Only confirmed commissions are payable. Networks pay us about 90 days after the end of the month in which a sale was made, once the shop has validated it and its return window has closed, so a commission usually becomes payable three to four months after the purchase, and longer where a shop's return window is longer or a network pays late. A network's decision to reverse or refuse a commission is final for us and for you; we cannot appeal it.
Schedule and minimum. We pay monthly, by the 15th, for everything confirmed by the end of the previous month, provided your confirmed balance is at least the minimum payout shown on your dashboard (US $25 at launch). A balance below the minimum rolls into the next month. We may change the schedule and the minimum for future periods.
How. Payouts go to the Stripe account you connected, in US dollars; Stripe converts to your currency at its rate and may charge its own fees, which are yours. If you have no working Stripe account, we hold the balance until you connect one; a balance unclaimed for twelve months is dealt with as unclaimed-property law requires.
Fees. The network's fee and payment-processing fees come off before the split. We do not otherwise charge creators to take part.
Reversals and set-off. A commission the shop or network reverses, a refund, a chargeback or a correction reverses your share of it, whether or not it has already been paid to you; if it has, we deduct it from your next payouts, and if your balance never covers it we may invoice you. We may set off anything you owe us against anything we owe you.
Holds. We may hold all or part of a payout, normally for up to 90 days and longer if a network's investigation runs longer, while we review activity that looks fraudulent or breaks these Creator Terms, while a network investigation or chargeback is open, while your account is suspended, or where Stripe, a network or the law requires it. A payout Stripe cannot make because your identity or bank details are incomplete is held, not forfeited, until you complete them. We do not pay interest on money we hold.
Taxes. Payouts are made gross of tax and you are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. Stripe collects a tax form (W-9 for US persons, W-8 for others) before your first payout where required; we and Stripe report to tax authorities what the law requires (for US persons, a Form 1099 once the federal threshold is met, US $2,000 in a year from 2026, and lower thresholds in some states) and withhold where the law tells us to. Amounts are exclusive of any VAT or sales tax you must account for yourself.

5. Your promises

You will:

Disclose. Keep the paid-link notice on every Closetbook page you share; when you post a Closetbook link on any other platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, a newsletter, a group chat), disclose your material connection clearly, unavoidably and close to the link, in the same medium as the content (in the picture for a picture, spoken and shown for a video, not only in a caption or a hashtag pile), as the FTC's Endorsement Guides and your local law require (for example "#ad", "paid link" or "I earn a commission"), and follow the platform's own branded-content rules. A platform's own disclosure tool is not enough on its own.
Be honest. Post only pieces you own or have genuinely used, opinions you hold, and claims that are true and that you can back up; never claim results (fit, quality, price) you have not seen; never present a look-alike as the original item.
Follow the networks' rules. The networks and shops whose links we use have their own publisher terms, which we pass down to you. In particular you will not: place Closetbook Links in emails, paid ads, search ads bidding on a shop's name, coupon or cashback sites, pop-ups, browser extensions or software, or anywhere a shop forbids; cloak, mask, shorten or alter links or the page they sit on; use a shop's trademarks in a domain, handle or ad; make a side deal with a shop and present it as ours; hold more than one creator account; or use links on any site or account that carries adult, hateful, illegal or deceptive content. On request you will confirm in writing that you comply, and tell us how you promote your pages.
Never game it. No purchases through your own links (or by family, staff or anyone at your request), no incentivised or paid clicks, no bots, scripts or click farms, no cookie stuffing, no fake accounts, no artificially inflated follows or votes, no buying traffic to your pages, no misleading urgency or fake discounts.
Keep it legal. Comply with advertising, consumer-protection, tax and privacy law where you and your audience are; never target children with links; never link to counterfeit, stolen, recalled or illegal goods.
Answer for your content. You are responsible for what you post here and elsewhere with our links, and you will indemnify us against claims arising from it, as the Terms of Service provide.

6. What we do and may do

We run the Programme, the link log, the dashboard, the network accounts and the payouts, and provide support at [email protected].
We decide which networks and shops we work with and may add or drop them at any time. A dropped network stops earning from the date we say; commissions already confirmed are still paid.
We may decline to wrap any link, or any creator's links, and may remove a piece, page or post from public view, at our discretion, with or without notice. When a network or shop asks us to remove or change a link, a pick or a placement (they can require it within days), we do so and tell you where we can.
We may audit clicks, sales and traffic and ask you for information about your promotion methods. Refusing a reasonable request is a breach.
We may change the Creator Share, the Placement Share, the minimum payout and the payout schedule for future clicks and periods. We show a rate change on your dashboard at least 14 days before it takes effect. A click made under the old rate keeps the old rate.

7. Fraud, breach and forfeiture

If we reasonably determine that clicks, sales, follows or votes were generated in breach of section 5, or that a network or shop has rejected or reversed commissions for fraud, we may cancel the affected commissions, reverse paid ones, hold or forfeit your unpaid balance to the extent of the harm, suspend or end your participation, and suspend or close your account. Where a network fines us or claws back money because of your activity, you will reimburse us. We may report fraud to the networks and, where the law requires, to the authorities.

8. Ending it

You may leave the Programme at any time by turning off payouts or deleting your account. Confirmed commissions are paid on the next scheduled run, less anything set off, provided your balance meets the minimum or you ask us in writing to pay it out below the minimum (we may deduct the payment fee).
We may end your participation on 30 days' notice for any reason, or immediately for breach or fraud under section 7, and may end or pause the Programme as a whole at any time. Commissions confirmed before the end are paid; commissions the networks confirm afterwards for earlier clicks are paid on the usual schedule for 12 months after the end, after which no further amounts accrue.
Your pages and posts stay yours; if you leave, links on them may continue to be wrapped as Closetbook Links with no Creator Share, unless you delete them or set them to Only me.

9. Under 18

Users who are under 18, or whose account gave the age range 13–17, cannot join the Programme, cannot connect Stripe, cannot buy placements and earn nothing from Closetbook Links on their pages. This is checked from the account and cannot be overridden by support.

10. Data

We are the controller of the personal data involved in the Programme (your identity and payout status from Stripe, your link and click log, your commissions ledger, your tax status), as the Privacy Policy describes. We share with the networks only the identifier of the page and piece a click came from, never your name or your visitors' identities. Stripe processes your identity, bank and tax details under its own privacy policy. We keep the commission ledger for as long as tax and audit law requires after your last payout, even if you delete your account.

11. The dull but necessary part

The Programme is provided "as is". We are not responsible for a network's or shop's decision to reject or reverse a commission, for a network's tracking failures, for Stripe's delays, holds, fees or KYC decisions, or for changes a shop makes to its rates. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost commissions or profits or for indirect losses arising from the Programme, and our total liability to you under these Creator Terms is limited to the confirmed commissions we owe you and have not paid. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Governing law, jurisdiction and dispute resolution follow the Terms of Service, section 17 and 18 (arbitration for US creators with the same opt-out; local courts for EEA, UK and Swiss creators).
